The Helius RC is a full-on race frame based on the Helius 4-bar linkage technology. Despite its similarity with the Helius CC, each constructional element was designed with the specific intention of reducing weight. Whilst the Helius CC is mostly used as a touring-bike or a light all-mountain bike, the RC has been designed from the ground up for racing. Lighter tubing, costly milled parts, ceramic bearing axles, a Titanium screw kit and the new DT Swiss XR Carbon shock are all standard on this bike. All this results in a frame weight of 2440 g. With a sporty and taut rear travel of 90 to 110 mm the Helius RC is ideally suited to the current crop of cross-country and marathon racing-forks. We do not compromise on rigidity and durability and as such still supply the Helius RC with the full Nicolai warranty of 5 years.
