If the BMXTB is to be used only for 4-X and dual racing, and
when the rider has a smooth riding style, there is the option
of a special lightweight race version. The strength margin built
in to the regular BMXTB frame for hardcore use can be dispensed
with for the racing version. This saves about half a kilo resulting
in better acceleration and agility and the potential for even
faster starts and sprints. However, if you’re looking
for a bike to take brutal dirt action this racing machine is
not the bike for you.
