Originally we designed the Ufo DS specifically for dual and four-cross (4-X) racing - on rough tracks with uneven ground and moto-x sized jumps the Ufo DS is clearly superior to a hardtail. The compact race oriented geometry is similar to the BMXTB but with the added advantage of a stiff suspension system to take the edge of hard impacts and give extra grip through the turns. The UFO is not a compromise over a BMXTB - it’s still an all-rounder. Far from being a handicap when riding street or dirt the firm rear suspension adds to the versatility. A growing number of slopestyle riders love the advantages of a hardcore full suspension frame when there is a huge jump or an 8 metre drop ahead and that side trip to the downhill track is also a lot more fun on a Ufo DS than on a hardtail! |
