Produkt Details ] The Helius AC has been to the gym and is pretty much beefed up for 2013. This is also true for the 26er AC but particularly for the 29er. Up until now it was a gentle trail bike with the great rolling movement through the big wheels, but it felt different to our 26er. The 2013 AC 29er is the better choice for tall riders because they sit more “in” the bike rather than on the bike. In comparison to the 26er the 29er isn’t only better at straight lines but it is also noticeably smoother. We didn’t follow the classic construction guidelines for 29er frames but tried to transfer our successful 26er geometry and riding fun to the 29er format. A short back, a slacker head angle and a low bottom bracket are all the ingredients we need. The ISCG 05 has been improved too, and makes the installation of chain guides even easier. By the way, the threads are interchangeable too. The Helius AC seems to be familiar, not like a 29er but like an enduro bike. In a nutshell, you don’t have to adjust your riding to the 29er because we have adjusted the bike to your normal riding. |
